Composer, educator and instrumentalist, Jesse Jones, has enjoyed sharing his love of music across the globe, including at the prestigious Montreux Jazz Festival. From the day he first picked up the saxophone, it was clear that music was the way forward for the talented musician from Toowoomba, Queensland.

Currently completing a Bachelor of Music Composition at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University, Jesse is guided by professional flautist and composer Dr Michal Rosiak. Jesse’s creative endeavours have seen him write an array of new and exciting works, ranging from delicate chamber music to bold and striking orchestral scores. Regarded by award-winning composer Dr Gerardo Dirie as writing music “at an exceptionally high level”, Jesse continues to show promise for a career in film and video game composition.

Also an avid keyboardist, Jesse performs regularly around Brisbane in his cover band, Later Daze. Having played at venues such as the renowned Tivoli and Triffid, Later Daze are always looking for more performance opportunities.
